For me, driving a safe car is so important not only for your own safety but also for the passengers in your car. Take your car to your favored garage and get an oil change and have the mechanic give it a good check up to see if everything is safe.
Have you ever been stranded somewhere with a broken down car and wished you had got around to fix the car problem earlier on. I am sure a lot of us had that experience.
It was such an unnecessary worry to go through if only we had prepared our car better before the trip and got some new parts to replace the old. It was an expensive lesson to learn that could have been avoided and done a lot cheaper if we had checked the car probably before we left.
It is not the latest model car we drive but we love it and want to keep it for as long as possible. Yes I guess we are emotional attached to the car but it is not only because of that, we do not really want the expense of having to buy a new car if we can avoid it. With proper maintenance and taking better care of our old car it should be possible to keep it for a long time.
